2. Don’t try to achieve the six-pack ab on the first day

This is the very first blunder committed by most men. The excitement of being on the treadmill and pull-downs for the first time is intriguing. However, make sure that this is not your last date. Keep a balance of exercise and rest initially. This will leave some energy for the rest part of the day. Pushing yourself too hard may leave you with sore muscles and nerves. Over-training reduces your performance and leads to health issue.

Follow the Instructions

3. Follow the instruction

Hiring gym trainer is recommended for the freshers in this field. Even if getting six pack abs is not in your mind and you’re just doing this for the sake of healthy lifestyle, doing under the guidance of someone who’s experienced is better. Not following the conventions and the instructions leads to painful consequences. So, make sure that you are doing it the right way.

4. Control your diet

Working out doesn’t mean that you have to starve yourself, but it will be of no use if you starting perching after the training session. Keep a balance of the calorie you take. Other than this, keep yourself hydrated during the session and even after it. Drink as much water as possible. For the diet plan to be effective, you need to restrict the total number of calorie you consume each day. Make sure that you have whole grain, green vegetables, seasonal fruits, and other food rich in essential nutrient and vitamin.

5. Warm up

Do not start working out straight away. Warm up first before hitting the trade mill. Not warming up may leave you with sore muscle after the session. You need to get the blood flowing in the muscles, so that, they do not tear too much after you train them. Side bends, leg swings, arm swings, shoulder circles are a must.

6. Consider what you’re wearing

The training outfit should be chosen carefully. Make sure that the fabric is airy and has moisture wicking property that reduces moisture retention. The tank top or t-shirt should not be very baggy, otherwise, it may restrict your motion. Wear the right style of men’s underwear. The athletic underwear that offers full support such as jockstrap underwear or boxer brief are ideal.
